Home of several museums and forts, the area offers plenty of cultural activities.

There is a vibrant nightlife in the area as for many it is considered the party capital of Mallorca, especially near the Punta Ballena area.
Watch out for the famous BCM nightclub, for many discos and clubs and dozens of bars and pubs where you can spend your time till the early hours of the morning.
Walking through the local promenades there are many small bars for popping in and having a drink.

There is a diversity of choices for eating out, with restaurants serving local recipes and Spanish food and Italian, Mexican, English, Turkish, Indian and Mexican restaurants. The area also features many burger bars, fish and chips shops, Chinese take-aways and British style pubs.

There is a fine 1.5 Km long sandy beach with white sand and large parts of shallow and warm water for family play under the sun. The bay is branded by many as one of the best in Europe.
On the coastal side of Magaluf visitors can find beach bars, watersports facilities, chartered boat trips and of course the port of Magaluf.
The all-white sandy beaches of Magaluf are also the ideal place to spend your time during the hot afternoon hours of each day. Also the two major water-parks between Magaluf and Palma Nova are ideal for families and children.
The Isla de sa Porrassa (Black Lizard Island) across Magaluf Bay is a few hundred meters from the coast and many people swim their way through.
